Game Overview

So Soccer Kid is this weird little GBA platformer where aliens try to steal the World Cup, crash their ship, and now you’ve gotta piece it back together. The whole thing plays out like a globe-trotting adventure—you’ll bounce from Britain to Japan, kicking your way through enemies with a soccer ball instead of, y’know, just jumping on them.

What makes it fun is how the ball actually works. You can juggle it, do headers, even pull off overhead kicks if you time it right. Mess up, though, and you’re scrambling to get it back while some weirdo tries to stomp you. Each country hides a piece of the Cup, but you’ll need to grab 11 Player Cards first—some are tucked away in sneaky spots.

Fair warning: the save system only lets you bookmark progress after finishing an entire country, not mid-level. So yeah, prepare for some "just one more try" moments when you die near the end. Still, it’s got charm, especially if you like games that do something different with platforming.
