Game Overview

So Soccer Kid is this weirdly charming Amiga platformer where you play as a kid trying to save the World Cup from aliens—because of course aliens would try to steal it. They crash-landed while escaping, shattered the trophy, and now you're hopping across Britain, Italy, Russia, and Japan to collect the pieces.

The twist? You don’t just jump on enemies—you soccer ball them to death. Kicking, heading, juggling—it’s all weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down. The controls take a minute to click, but pulling off a perfect bicycle kick to knock out some goon feels great. Each country hides 11 Player Cards, and you’ll need them all to unlock the next stop on your globe-trotting cleanup mission.

Fair warning: the save system only lets you bookmark progress after finishing a whole country, not mid-level. So yeah, prepare for some "one more try" frustration when you die near the end of Japan. Still, it’s got that old-school charm where the jank is part of the fun.
