Download Soccer Kid_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1993 Amiga action platformer. Recover World Cup fragments across 5 countries using soccer-based combat. Collect 11 player cards per level to progress. Features ball control mechanics and save points.
Game Overview
So Soccer Kid is this weirdly charming Amiga platformer where aliens try to swipe the World Cup, botch their escape, and end up smashing it into pieces across the planet. Naturally, it's up to you—a kid with a soccer ball—to get it back. You'll bounce from Britain to Japan, kicking enemies (literally) and pulling off ridiculous headers and bicycle kicks like some tiny, pixelated Ronaldo.
The ball physics take some getting used to—at first I kept fumbling easy shots—but once you get the hang of juggling it mid-air, you feel like a genius. Each country hides a Player Card (11 total), and you’ll need all of them to unlock the final showdown in the U.S. Just don’t expect quicksaves—you can only save after clearing entire regions, so no backing out halfway through Italy.
It’s janky in that classic ‘90s way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about drop-kicking robots with a well-aimed volley.
