Game Overview

So, Sonic Boom on the Amiga—it's one of those classic shoot 'em ups where you're blasting everything in sight from a tiny, overpowered jet. You start off with this sleek little plane that somehow packs enough firepower to take down entire armies, and the screen just keeps scrolling upward while waves of enemy planes, tanks, and even trains (yeah, trains) come at you.

The first level eases you in with some basic fighters, but before long, you're dodging bullets and bombing turrets while trying to grab weapon upgrades that drop from wrecked enemies. The bosses are no joke—each one has a pattern you’ve gotta figure out fast because the clock’s ticking. And if you mess up? You get five continues, but with only three lives each, so you’ll burn through them quicker than you think.

It’s got that satisfying arcade feel where every explosion matters, and the music keeps you locked in. Not the deepest shooter out there, but it’s solid for a quick, chaotic session.
