You pick from weirdly buff versions of Tails, Knuckles, and the gang, then duke it out in bright, chaotic stages full of springs and loop-de-loops.

The controls are simple (punch, kick, one special move per character), but matches get surprisingly intense when you realize Robotnik’s belly flop can actually wreck you if you’re not careful. The sprite work is chunky and nostalgic, and the announcer yells "SONIC CHAMPIONSHIP!" like it’s the most important tournament in history. It’s janky, over-the-top, and perfect for quick rounds when you want to see Shadow the Hedgehog suplex someone.
