Space Pilot came out in 2005 as an arcade cabinet release from Galactic Games Inc. You control a small, agile starfighter, weaving through tight asteroid fields and swarms of enemy drones. Your main goal is to survive as long as possible, racking up points by destroying everything in your path. The game uses a risk reward system where flying closer to obstacles multiplies your score, and you collect energy orbs dropped by enemies to replenish your shields. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty spikes sharply whenever a boss appears. It feels tense but satisfying when you slip through a narrow gap and unleash a full volley into a larger enemy's weak point.
