Game Overview

Man, Speedy Gonzales on SNES is way more fun than I expected. You're this tiny mouse blitzing through levels that look like they jumped out of a Saturday morning cartoon—cacti, piñatas, those goofy Sylvester cats always one step behind. The controls feel snappy, which matters when you're dodging traps at full speed.

It starts easy, but by the second world, you're doing these ridiculous mid-air somersaults over spike pits while mariachi music blares in the background. The whole thing oozes charm, from the way Speedy wiggles his ears when he idles to the "¡Ándale!" sound bites. Not gonna lie, some jumps took me a few tries—those cats with lassos are sneaky.

If you dig old-school platformers with personality, this one's a riot. Just don't blame me when you start humming the theme song hours later.
