Remember Speedy Gonzales from the old Looney Tunes cartoons? This Game Boy Color game throws you right into his world—Sylvester’s gone and kidnapped all the mice from your village, and it’s up to you to sprint, jump, and fight your way through six levels to save them. The controls feel just like you’d expect: Speedy’s fast, so you’ll be zipping past obstacles and enemies before they even know what hit them.

You’ll grab smoke bombs and boomerangs along the way to take out enemies, though sometimes it’s just easier to outrun them. The levels mix things up—some have you dodging traps in temples, others put you in a boat or underwater (where, yeah, Speedy’s not quite as speedy). Each one ends with a boss fight, usually some oversized version of a Looney Tunes baddie. It’s not the deepest platformer out there, but if you like quick reflexes and that classic cartoon chaos, it’s a solid little adventure.
