I picked up Spider-Man: Battle for New York on the Nintendo DS back in 2006, a game published by Activision. You control Spider-Man, swinging and punching your way through New York to stop the Green Goblin. You move screen by screen, clearing out enemies before advancing, and the pacing is pretty brisk, though some enemy types can feel repetitive. It captures that satisfying, brawler feel of just webbing up goons and moving on to the next fight.
