I remember playing the 1995 MS-DOS Spiderman game from Paragon Software. It was a side-scrolling action game from that era, a time when superhero games were often simple platformers with basic combat. You controlled Spiderman through a series of levels set in a comic book style New York City.

You move Spiderman from left to right, punching and kicking various thugs and super villains. The main goal is to defeat the Green Goblin, who appears at the end. You can shoot webs to swing across gaps or to temporarily trap enemies, and you also climb on certain walls and ceilings. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be punishing, especially with the Goblin's projectile attacks. It feels like a straightforward brawler where timing your jumps and attacks is everything.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
