Spore, released in 2008 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, was originally developed by Maxis. You control a small, evolving creature on a mysterious planet, primarily interacting through a text parser to explore your surroundings, solve puzzles, and gather resources. The main objective involves progressing through stages of evolution by destroying energy pillars in arcade-style, Breakout-inspired sequences; each successful section alters the game world, unlocking new areas and abilities. The pacing is uneven, sometimes sluggish during exploration but frantic during combat and destruction phases, with a difficulty that spikes unexpectedly. It feels like piecing together a strange, half-forgotten dream where your actions genuinely reshape the environment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
