Game Overview

Striker 95 came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection. It was developed by Rage Software, a name some might remember from that era of straightforward, no-frills sports titles. This was a time when soccer games were still figuring out their footing on PC, often prioritizing simple, fast action over simulation depth.

You control a team of blocky, colorful players on a top-down field, trying to score more goals than the opponent. The main objective is to win matches, either in a single game or through a tournament. Signature mechanics include a powerful, often unpredictable sliding tackle that sends opponents flying and a lofted chip shot that arcs over the goalie. The pacing is frantic, almost chaotic, and the difficulty can spike sharply against clever AI. It feels like trying to conduct an orchestra where every musician is slightly out of tune but occasionally plays a perfect note.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
