Super Cauldron came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a time when pixel art and straightforward gameplay ruled. It was developed by Millennium Interactive and published by Apogee Software, fitting right in with the era's fondness for quirky, screen-by-screen action games that didn't take themselves too seriously.
You control a little wizard tasked with brewing potions by tossing ingredients like mushrooms and eyeballs into a giant cauldron while dodging fireballs and other hazards. The goal is to complete each recipe without letting the screen erupt into chaos; timing your throws and avoiding enemies becomes crucial as the pace picks up. It feels like a frantic, magical kitchen simulator where one wrong move can turn your potion into a pixelated disaster.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
