Super Pinball on the NES is one of those weird Japan-only releases that somehow slipped under the radar. It’s got these oddly specific tables—like a racing-themed one with tiny cars zipping around and a sci-fi board with flashing neon ramps. The physics feel a little stiff compared to real pinball (it is the NES, after all), but there’s something charming about how over-the-top the designs are. My favorite’s the racing table—hitting the ball just right to trigger the tiny pit crew animation never gets old.

Definitely more of a novelty than a serious pinball sim, but if you’re into obscure retro games, it’s a fun little time capsule.
