Game Overview

Tatakae Genshijin 3 – Shuyaku wa Yappari Joe & Mac (or just Joe & Mac 3 if you don’t feel like wrestling with the full title) is one of those weird, Japan-only SNES sequels that somehow got even sillier than the originals. You’re back playing as those lovable knucklehead cavemen, smacking dinosaurs with clubs, hopping on pterodactyls, and generally causing Stone Age mayhem.

The first thing you’ll notice? It’s fast. Like, "accidentally-yeet-yourself-into-a-spike-pit" fast. The controls are tighter than before, which helps when you’re dodging lava or getting ambushed by rival tribesmen. No co-op this time, which stings, but the single-player chaos makes up for it—especially when you unlock the spin attack and start turning into a caveman tornado.

Honestly, it’s just dumb fun. The levels are packed with little details, like frozen mammoths you can thaw out or secret warp zones hidden behind suspiciously breakable walls. If you’ve got a soft spot for janky ‘90s platformers with too much personality, this one’s a riot.
