I first encountered Tear Down the Wall on a compilation of MS-DOS classic games, though I never did learn who made it. It was one of those simple, straightforward titles from the era, built for quick sessions when you just wanted to break things on a monochrome monitor.

You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, deflecting a ball to smash through walls of bricks. The goal is to clear every brick without letting the ball drop; some bricks take multiple hits to break, while others release power-ups or hazards that change the pace instantly. The difficulty ramps up quickly as the ball speeds up and the paddle sometimes shrinks, demanding sharp reflexes and careful angles. It feels tense and immediate, a pure test of timing and control.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
