Tecmo Knight is a 1989 arcade game from Tecmo, the same company behind Ninja Gaiden. You control the knight, who can attack with a sword and use magic spells, but the real twist is the ability to summon and ride two different creatures: a giant tiger and a smoke monster. You can switch between them during combat, each offering unique attacks and movement. The tiger is powerful and fast, while the smoke monster can phase through certain obstacles. The game progresses screen by screen, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty is relentless, demanding quick reflexes and smart use of your summoned allies.
