Game Overview

Remember Tetris and Dr. Mario from the Game Boy and NES days? This SNES version bundles both classics with a few nice upgrades. Tetris is still that same "oh no, where does this piece go?" panic as blocks rain down, but now you can actually play against a friend (or the CPU if you're feeling brave). Dr. Mario keeps its weirdly satisfying pill-matching virus-killing action—those little germs never stood a chance.

The real gem here is Mixed Match mode, where you and a buddy take turns playing Tetris and Dr. Mario back-to-back. It’s brutal if one of you sucks at pill-matching but dominates at block-stacking. You can tweak handicaps to even things out, which saves friendships. The graphics got a slight glow-up from the old versions, but honestly, you’ll be too busy sweating over falling blocks to notice. If you’ve got a competitive streak and a love for ’90s puzzle games, this one’s a no-brainer.
