Game Overview

You play as the Flash in this Sega Master System side-scroller, and yeah—he’s fast. Like, "blink and you’ll miss a whole section of the level" fast. The game throws you into six rounds, each with two stages and a boss fight at the end. Your main goal? Hit a switch to unlock the exit, then book it there before time runs out. Sounds simple, but the levels twist and turn like Sonic’s playgrounds, with hidden paths and shortcuts everywhere.

What’s cool is that Flash has two speeds: regular "I’m already faster than you" and "SuperSpeed," which drains energy but lets you zip through levels like a red blur. That same energy fuels vibrating attacks—smash blocks (some hide power-ups, others… not so much) or shake enemies into oblivion. Oh, and there’s a spin attack too, no energy needed, but you’ve gotta be moving to pull it off. Star Food vendors recharge your energy, so keep an eye out unless you want to jog through the rest of the level like a mere mortal.

It’s a fun, chaotic dash with just enough strategy to keep you from just holding right the whole time.
