Game Overview

Las Vegas EGA Casino is a 1990 MS-DOS release from developer Dynamix, a straightforward gambling simulator from the era when EGA graphics were the standard. It doesn't try to be anything more than a collection of casino games you could play on a home computer, a digital version of a weekend trip without any of the travel.

You control a cursor to navigate the casino floor, moving from game to game like blackjack, poker, and slots. The main objective is simply to build your virtual bankroll by making smart bets. Signature mechanics include the very deliberate, screen-by-screen movement between tables and the simple, menu-driven interactions for placing chips and playing hands. The pacing is slow, dictated by the deliberate animations of the cards dealing and the reels spinning, and the difficulty is entirely based on the inherent odds of each game. It feels like a quiet, solitary session with a deck of cards, a purely mechanical exercise in chance.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
