Play The Pinball of the Dead (E)(Independent) Online

House of the Dead as a pinball game—zombie bosses become table obstacles, and those ridiculous slow-mo death animations pop off when you hit the right ramps. The ball physics are janky in that classic GBA way, but smacking undead with flippers never gets old.

Game Overview

Okay, so imagine House of the Dead—zombies, cheesy voice acting, the whole deal—but smashed into a pinball table. That’s The Pinball of the Dead in a nutshell. It’s got all the weird charm of the original games, just with way more flippers and ball drains.

You’ll recognize the bosses (that giant bat thing still creeps me out) and some of the levels remixed as pinball obstacles. The tables are packed with little details—shoot the right ramp and you might trigger a mini-boss fight, complete with those ridiculous slow-mo death animations. It’s janky in that early 2000s GBA way, but honestly, that just adds to the fun.

Fair warning: The physics take some getting used to. Sometimes the ball feels like it’s made of lead, other times it’s weirdly floaty. But once you get the hang of it, blasting zombies while trying not to tilt is weirdly addictive. If you’re into pinball or just miss the House of the Dead vibe, this one’s a surprisingly solid mashup.
