Game Overview

Undake 30 Same Game Daisakusen - Mario Version is one of those weird little SNES puzzle games you stumble into and end up playing way longer than expected. The setup’s simple: clear the board by matching Mario-themed tiles—Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Yoshi Eggs—but here’s the catch. If you mess up and leave single tiles stranded, you’re stuck. Thank goodness for the undo button, because I’ve definitely panicked after realizing I just doomed my run.

It’s got that classic SameGame feel, but with Mario’s charm slapped all over it. The mouse controls work surprisingly well if you’ve got the SNES Mouse lying around (remember those?), but the controller does the job too. Fun fact: this thing was originally a Satellaview broadcast in Japan before getting a cart release. Not bad for a game where the biggest thrill is watching a cluster of coins vanish in one satisfying click.
