Game Overview

Unreal (MS-DOS) is this weird, cool mashup of two totally different games smashed together—like if someone took Galaxy Force and Rastan Saga and made them share a cartridge. Half the time, you're flying on this dragon, Dracus, blasting fireballs at monsters while dodging cliffs and lava rivers. The controls feel janky at first, but once you snag a few power-ups, you're suddenly melting everything with screen-filling flames (until you crash into a tree and lose all that sweet firepower, of course).

The other half? You're on foot as Artaban, swinging a sword through swamps and castles. The sword's kinda fun—you can charge it up by touching fire pits, then fling fireballs or water spells at enemies. There are some basic puzzles, but mostly it's about surviving with your 100 health points (you get 50 back at the start of each level, thank god). Oh, and you get three save slots, which was basically luxury back then.

It's clunky, but there's something charming about how ambitious it was for its time.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
