Untold Legends: The Warrior’s Code picks up years after Brotherhood of the Blade, and things are bleak—your shapeshifter race is being hunted down, and the city’s under the thumb of a brutal warlord-turned-emperor. The opening throws you right into the chaos, fleeing with others before stumbling onto something that might turn the tide. Feels like a proper dark fantasy setup, not just another generic hack-and-slash.

You get five classes to choose from, and they actually play differently. Went with the Disciple first—figured a mix of magic and melee would help while I learned the ropes—but the Mercenary’s raw power or the Scout’s speed are just as viable. Customization’s decent too; tweaking stats and appearance gives your character some personality before the slaughter begins.

Combat’s more tactical than it looks. Spamming basic attacks gets you killed fast—timing charged strikes, using abilities wisely, and watching for openings matters. The PSP’s controls handle it surprisingly well, though some of the flashier moves take practice to pull off mid-fight. Best part? You can team up locally or online, which turns the usual dungeon grind into something way more chaotic (in a good way). If you ever played the first one, this feels like a proper step up.
