Game Overview

Wolfenstein 3D on SNES is where first-person shooters really started—clunky, loud, and ridiculously fun. You play as B.J. Blazkowicz, basically the original video game badass, sneaking through Nazi strongholds with a pistol that feels way too weak at first. The maze-like corridors are full of secret rooms (shoot every wall, trust me) and guards who yell "Achtung!" before blasting you.

The SNES version tones down the gore from the PC original, but it still has that same frantic energy—especially when you finally grab a chaingun and mow down a hallway of enemies. The controls take a second to get used to, but once it clicks, you’ll be strafing around corners like it’s 1992 all over again. Just don’t expect modern conveniences like looking up or down—this is pure, old-school run-and-gun chaos.
