You get a squad of them, give them ridiculous weapons like banana bombs and exploding sheep, then try to blast the other team off the map. The terrain crumbles as you shoot, so one lucky bazooka hit can send half the enemy squad tumbling into the water.
What’s great is how the DS touchscreen works for aiming—just drag your stylus to line up shots, which feels way more precise than button controls. The single-player missions are fun, but the real magic happens in local multiplayer. Passing one DS back and forth with a friend, trying to pull off that perfect grenade toss while laughing at the worms’ silly voices? That’s where the game shines.
