Play Worms - Open Warfare Online
Your squad of worms tosses banana bombs and holy hand grenades across crumbling terrain, trying not to backflip into the water while your friends laugh at your terrible aim. Perfect for quick, chaotic DS battles.

Worms: Open Warfare came out on the Nintendo DS in 2006, developed by Team17. It was a solid entry in the portable gaming scene of that era, offering a familiar, turn-based artillery experience you could take anywhere. The game felt right at home on the DS, using the touchscreen for some menu navigation and weapon selection, which was a nice touch for the hardware.
You control a team of cartoon worms, taking turns with an opponent to eliminate each other using a huge arsenal of silly weapons. The main goal is simply to be the last worm standing. Signature mechanics include using the ninja rope to swing across gaps for a better shot, and setting up elaborate chain reactions with exploding sheep or air strikes. The pacing is deliberately slow and thoughtful, punctuated by moments of pure chaos when a shot goes perfectly right (or terribly wrong). It feels like a clever, portable puzzle where the pieces are grenades and the solution is your friend's defeat.
