Game Overview

XESS - The New Revolution is like stumbling into a retro arcade and finding three games crammed into one cabinet. First up, there's Cookie & Bibis—basically Puzzle Bobble but with sports balls instead of bubbles. Match three basketballs or soccer balls to clear them, and it gets surprisingly tense when the ceiling starts creeping down. Two-player mode turns it into a frantic race to see who can clear their side first.

Then there's New Hyper Man, which feels like someone mashed Pac-Man with a twin-stick shooter. You’re dodging ghosts while blasting them, and the stages get mean fast—tight corridors, respawning enemies, and bosses that take way too many hits. Upgrading Hyper Man helps, but by world three, you’ll be sweating.

Last is Hyper Man, a Pac-Man clone with extra tricks. Secret tunnels, weird power-ups (why does a chili pepper make you invincible?), and bonus items keep it from feeling like a straight copy. It’s the kind of game where you swear you’ll stop after one maze, then suddenly it’s been an hour.

Not the most original trio, but if you miss arcade cabinets and neon-lit pizza parlors, this’ll scratch that itch.
