So, Yoshi on NES is this weird little puzzle game where Mario's just trying to survive an endless rain of Goombas, Bloopers, and those annoying Piranha Plants. You're basically playing catch with them—but instead of gloves, you've got these little trays to shuffle around. Match two of the same enemy and poof, they're gone. Or, if you're feeling fancy, trap a bunch between eggshell halves and see what kind of Yoshi pops out (turns out, the more baddies you squash, the cooler Yoshi looks).

It's simple at first, but then everything starts falling faster and suddenly you're frantically juggling Boo Buddies while trying not to drop anything. Oh, and thank goodness for passwords—because you'll definitely need to take breaks before your thumbs give out.
