Game Overview

Yoshi Story is this weirdly cozy little platformer where you pick a cute Yoshi (I always go for the pink one) and hop through these bright, papercraft-like worlds. Instead of just running left to right, you get to pick which levels to tackle next—kinda like flipping through a storybook where you decide what happens.

The egg-throwing mechanic feels surprisingly satisfying once you get the hang of it. Toss one at a shy guy, watch him poof into stars, and suddenly you're grinning like an idiot. It's not super hard, but there's something about the pastel colors and those little Yoshi noises that just... works. Perfect for when you want something cheerful without too much stress.

Also, the fruit gimmick is oddly charming—you basically eat your way through each level to fill a happiness meter. Never thought I'd care about virtual melons this much.
