Play 2 Pak Black - Challenge, Surfing Online

You paddle out on jagged Atari waves, wiping out gloriously, then switch to a chaotic two-player mode that’s basically Pong with an attitude problem. Pure 80s weirdness.

Game Overview

2 Pak Black is one of those weird little Atari 2600 carts that makes you go, "Wait, what is this?" It's got two completely different games crammed onto one cartridge—one's a competitive two-player thing, the other's a surfing game. Typical 80s move, honestly.

The surfing part is exactly what you'd expect from an Atari sports game: blocky waves, a tiny surfer sprite, and that weirdly satisfying flicker when you wipe out. The two-player mode feels like someone took Pong and gave it an identity crisis—it's simple, but the kind of thing you'd play for 20 minutes with a friend while arguing about who's cheating.

Not gonna lie, it's more of a novelty than a must-play, but there's something charming about how janky and experimental these old HES releases were. If you're into weird retro oddities, this one's a fun little time capsule.
