Alien Worlds was a 1990 MS-DOS release from developer Softdisk, a product of its time when shareware titles filled disks with experimental concepts. It didn't aim for blockbuster status, instead offering a straightforward, screen-by-screen shooter experience that felt right at home on a floppy disk.

You pilot a small ship through a series of single-screen arenas, each filled with alien creatures that swarm and split apart when shot. The main objective is simply to survive each wave, clearing the screen of all enemies to progress. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
