Game Overview

Armor Alley came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Three-Sixty Pacific. It was a straightforward action-strategy game from an era when many titles experimented with mixing genres, offering a focused experience without much fluff or cinematic pretense.

You control a helicopter tasked with protecting a slow-moving van as it travels from left to right across a series of hostile screens. Your main objective is to destroy enemy units and structures to clear a path, while also managing limited funds to purchase support units like tanks and engineers. The enemy side deploys its own forces in response, creating a tense back-and-forth where one mistake can lead to your van being destroyed almost instantly. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes and careful resource management. It feels like a high-pressure escort mission where every decision matters right up to the final stretch.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
