Fire up the DeLorean and buckle up—this MS-DOS gem throws you straight into the chaos of Back to the Future Part II. One minute you're dodging hoverboard gangs in 2015, the next you're sneaking past Biff's goons in a messed-up 1985. The side-scrolling action feels janky by today's standards, but there's something weirdly satisfying about pixel Marty's awkward jumps and that tinny soundtrack blasting in the background.
It nails the movie's vibe, though. You'll recognize scenes like the Cafe 80s shootout or the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, just with way more keyboard-mashing. And yeah, the controls take some getting used to—expect to faceplant into a few trash cans before nailing the hoverboard section. But if you grew up rewinding VHS tapes of the trilogy, those blocky graphics hit different.
Fair warning: the almanac hunt in 1955 will test your patience. I may or may not have rage-quit after the third time old Biff ran me over with his car.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
