Interplay Productions released The Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight in 1986 for MS-DOS, a sequel that expanded on the original's dungeon-crawling formula. You control a custom party of up to six characters, exploring the city of Tangramayne and its surrounding dungeons screen by screen. The main objective is to recover the seven Destiny Wand pieces scattered across the land, battling monsters in turn-based combat, solving environmental puzzles, and hunting for hidden switches. The game is methodical and often difficult, demanding patience as you manage spell points, search for secret doors, and frequently retreat to temples for healing. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
