Game Overview

Bass Class is one of those weirdly addictive MS-DOS fishing games that shouldn’t work as well as it does. You’re staring at a chunky pixel lake, tapping buttons to cast your line, and suddenly—bam—something bites. The screen jiggles, you mash keys like your life depends on it, and somehow hauling in a blocky bass feels like a genuine accomplishment.

It’s all timing and dumb luck. Sometimes you reel in a sad little minnow, other times you’re fighting what looks like a submarine with fins. The controls are janky in that classic DOS way, but after a few tries, you start getting weirdly competitive with yourself. "Just one more cast" turns into an hour gone, and you’re still there, squinting at a CRT monitor like it’s an actual fishing trip.

If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon on The Black Bass or any of those old fishing sims, this one’s got the same strangely satisfying vibe. No frills, no realism—just you versus a lake full of angry polygons.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
