Play Battle X Battle : Kyodai Gyo Densetsu Online

Pick a giant fish, teach it to fight dirty, then watch your neon carp suplex a shark in chaotic underwater brawls. The pixel art somehow makes a tuna losing to shrimp feel personal.

Game Overview

Battle X Battle: Kyodai Gyo Densetsu was a Japan-exclusive Game Boy Advance release from 2000, developed by KID and published by Imagineer. It arrived during a period when the GBA library was beginning to diversify, offering experiences beyond the usual platformers and RPGs. This game stood out simply by being a fighting game where you control giant, absurd fish.

You select one of several oversized aquatic creatures, each with a unique move set, and engage in one-on-one battles in various underwater stages. The main objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar using a combination of basic attacks, special moves, and screen-filling super attacks. Signature mechanics include a grappling system for throws and holds, stage hazards that can damage both fighters, and a super meter that builds as you land hits. The pacing is fast and chaotic, with matches often decided by who can land a powerful combo or super move first. It feels like controlling a ridiculous aquarium brawl where a tuna can genuinely suplex a shark.
