I picked up Beauty and the Beast: A Board Game Adventure on Game Boy Color back in 1999, a Disney Interactive release that fit right in with the handheld's library of colorful, family-friendly titles. You control Belle, moving her piece around a board game-style map of the Beast's castle, rolling dice to advance from room to room. The main goal is to collect a certain number of enchanted roses before the time limit runs out. Along the way, you trigger mini-games; some involve dodging Gaston's arrows in a side-scrolling segment, while others task you with matching dishes for Mrs. Potts under a time pressure.
