Game Overview

Bebe’s Kids on SNES is one of those weird, hyper-specific licensed games that somehow works. You play as either Kahlil or LaShawn—two of the rowdiest kids from the animated movie—trying to take back Fun World from whoever’s hijacked it. Kahlil’s spin-tuck move is weirdly satisfying, and LaShawn just flips around like a tiny tornado wrecking everything.

The first level throws you right into it: smashing animatronic robots and dodging security guards before time runs out. Then there’s the baby PeeWee level, where you’re basically causing chaos in a china shop (of course) and trying to break glasses faster than Robin can scold you. The haunted house maze is pure trial-and-error—half the doors lead to mummies, the other half to dead ends—and the pirate ship level feels like someone threw Double Dragon into a theme park.

It’s janky, it’s loud, and the controls take some getting used to, but there’s something charming about how unapologetically chaotic it is. You’ll either love it or walk away confused. No in-between.
