Game Overview

Blaster Master Boy picks up right after the original—turns out those radioactive mutants weren’t done causing trouble. Now, weird hotspots are popping up everywhere, and guess who’s back in the armored suit? You.

It’s a little different this time, though. No tank, no grenades—just you, a top-down dungeon crawl, and some seriously handy bombs. At first, I missed the side-scrolling chaos, but the bomb mechanics grew on me fast. Blow up enemies, clear blocked paths, and try not to get cornered by the creepy crawlies down there.

It’s shorter and simpler than the NES original, but the dungeons have that same tense, exploratory vibe. Just don’t expect to blast through without a few trial-and-error deaths first.
