Game Overview

Blue Force came out in 1993 from Tsunami Media, a point-and-click adventure that fit right in with the MS-DOS era's appetite for police dramas and mystery. You play as a cop named Jake, starting with mundane duties that quickly spiral into something much darker and more personal.

You control Jake through a series of static screens, interacting with objects and characters using a verb-based interface to gather clues and solve puzzles. The main goal involves investigating a stolen weapons ring while uncovering the truth behind your father's unsolved case. Key mechanics include collecting evidence, interviewing suspects, and occasionally engaging in tense shootouts where careful aim matters more than firepower. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, and the puzzles can be unforgiving if you miss details. It feels like piecing together a fragile, dangerous truth one conversation and one clue at a time.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
