Blue Print came out in 1982 as an arcade game from Zilec Electronics. You control a small, mustachioed handyman who has to rebuild a mansion, one room at a time. Your main objective is to collect all the scattered pieces of a blueprint in each stage while avoiding enemies like bouncing balls and weird, hopping devils. The signature mechanics involve careful platforming across moving girders and using a temporary invincibility power-up to stun foes instead of killing them. The pacing is deliberate; you have to plan each jump and time your movements, because the stages are tight and the enemies are persistent. It feels like a tense, methodical race against the clock where every successful room completion brings a real sense of relief.
