The first time a vampire spots you lurking in the dark, you'll panic—until you remember you can blast them with concentrated sunlight. The dungeons are tense, the weapons are ridiculous (solar-powered gun-blade, anyone?), and the whole thing has that weirdly charming Kojima vibe where everything makes just enough sense to be awesome.

Fair warning: if you try to play this at night, you're gonna have a bad time. Unless you've got a suspiciously powerful desk lamp, in which case... well, the game probably didn't account for cheaters like you. Either way, it's still one of the most creative RPGs on the GBA, even if it turns you into that person who games on the porch at noon.
