Game Overview

Bomberman on the DS is the same chaotic fun you remember—just smaller and way more portable. You’re still dropping bombs to blast through walls and take out enemies, but now you can do it on the bus or in line at the DMV. The single-player levels start simple, but by the third world, you’ll be sweating over bomb timing and trap placements.

Where it really shines, though, is multiplayer. Grab a friend with another DS (or three friends, if you’re feeling brave) and watch the screen turn into pure, grid-based anarchy. Someone always blows themselves up by accident, and that someone is usually me. The controls feel tight, and the classic power-ups—remote detonation, extra bombs—are all here. It’s basically the perfect way to kill 20 minutes or ruin a friendship.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a Bomberman game before, this one’s a no-brainer.
