Game Overview
Bomberman II on the NES feels like they actually listened to what made the first one fun and then cranked it up. The explosions look sharper, the levels have more going on—some even mess with gravity or have weird conveyor belts that’ll throw off your timing. It’s a little more forgiving than the original, but that just means you spend less time frustrated and more time laughing when your buddy walks right into your perfectly placed bomb trap.
They also added these little cutscenes between levels that give the whole thing more personality. Still the same chaotic, bomb-dropping madness, just with way more polish. If you’ve ever played a Bomberman game, this one’s the NES version at its best.
