You control Bonkers, the hyperactive bobcat, through side scrolling stages set inside a cartoon studio. The main goal is to collect pots of wax while avoiding an array of surreal hazards, like dripping paint and melting platforms. The game uses a lives system and screen by screen progression, with a constant pressure to move quickly before certain platforms vanish. It feels frantic and unpredictable, like trying to outrun a collapsing dream.
