Game Overview
Castlevania Extreme is one of those weird, fun Flash mashups where Simon Belmont somehow ends up fighting bosses from totally different Nintendo games—like, why is Bowser here? No idea, but whipping him in the face with the chain feels oddly satisfying.
You pick a special weapon before each fight (axe for flying stuff, holy water for ground enemies—you’ll figure it out fast), and the controls are simple but stiff in that classic Castlevania way. Miss a jump? Yeah, you’re falling into a pit. The sprite work’s rough, but there’s charm in how janky some of the boss fights feel. Just don’t expect Symphony of the Night—this is pure dumb arcade action.
Arrow keys move, Z swings the chain, X jumps, and C uses whatever weapon you picked. Good luck not throwing your keyboard when Dracula’s second form spams fireballs.
