Change Air Blade is one of those shooters where every enemy feels like a boss fight—no mindless mowing down waves of weak ships here. You pick from eight different fighters (my favorite’s the one that transforms into this weird dragon-mech hybrid), and then it’s straight into chaotic dogfights against massive enemies with health bars longer than your patience.

The smaller ships buzzing around are just there to annoy you while you’re trying to focus on the real threat. You’ve got your main guns, sure, but those limited-use bombs? Save them for when the screen fills up with lasers and you realize you’ve made poor life choices. It’s brutal, fast, and the kind of arcade game where you’ll groan every time you lose because you know it was your own fault.
