Chariots of Wrath is one of those weird, ambitious Amiga games that throws everything at you—literally. You play as Prince Agar, trying to rescue your kidnapped princess, but the twist is every level feels like a different game entirely. First, you're blasting monsters in a first-person castle defense segment (think Operation Wolf but jankier), then suddenly you're bouncing a paddle in a Breakout clone, followed by a top-down shooter. Just when you think you've got the hang of it, the game tosses you into an Asteroids knockoff or a platforming section.

It’s messy, but in a way that makes you want to see what bizarre genre shift comes next. The controls can be a little rough—especially in the shooter bits—but there’s something charming about how hard it commits to being unpredictable. If you’re into retro games that don’t play it safe, this one’s a trip.
