Play Chavez Boxing 2 Online
Dodge punches from that awkward behind-the-back angle, train hard between fights, and land those janky-but-satisfying SNES uppercuts—this one’s a love letter to Mexican boxing fans.

Chavez Boxing 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by American Softworks. It was one of many sports titles on the system, a straightforward boxing game focused on Julio César Chávez, the real-life Mexican champion. It didn't try to reinvent the genre, just offered a solid, no-frills representation of the sport for its time.
You control a boxer, moving him around the ring to dodge, block, and throw punches at your opponent. The main goal is to win fights, either by knockout or decision, to climb the ranks. The game uses a behind-the-back perspective, which makes judging distance a unique challenge. Between matches, you manage a training regimen to boost your boxer's stats, balancing stamina and power. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can spike with more skilled opponents. It feels like a genuine, if slightly clunky, simulation of the patience and timing needed in the ring.
